MAMMA MAFIA
  THE LONDON TOAST THEATRE is an English theatre in Copenhagen and every year they present their Crazy Christmas Cabaret. In 2009, they introduce Mamma Mafia, a spoof on organised crime in the 1930s, where five poor Italian families struggle for survival on the streets of New York City. This show is extremely popular so make sure that you book your tickets early! It is playing at the Glassalen from 5 November 2009 to 9 January 2010.
 
CELEBRATE SPORT
  PARTICIPATE in the many exciting sports events up to and during the 121st IOC Session and XIII Olympic Congress, 1- 9 October 2009 in Copenhagen. There will be an Olympic party, a Copenhagen bike tour, youth games, an exhibition and much much more! On Oct 1-2, go to the City Hall Square (Rådhus) and  experience street soccer, BMX, volleyball, rowing, trampoline, gymnastics, street basket, weightlifting, taekwondo, judo, wheelchair rugby, hockey, quianball, kayak, soapbox car race, sports dancing, fencing, squash, karate, softball and many other things. You can also choose to run 5 or 10 kilometres throughout the streets of Copenhagen on October 2 (www.olympicrun.dk).

SUNDAY WORSHIP
  THE INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY is an interdenominational English speaking church held at Ryesgade 68, 2100 Copenhagen, Sundays at 10:30. CUSTOM HOUSE - Our Head Chef Stefano Leone is making us all become more Southern European. He wants our Friday afternoons to follow the classic Italian way of ending the day and starting the evening early. Every Friday from 16:30 to 18:30, we offer free Italian antipasti to accompany our selection of wine or beer or one of our great cocktails, of which a few are also Italian: Mello Cello and Aperol 44.


FANCY A SWIM?

KILDESKOVSHALLEN will open its doors again on 1 October 2009. The 40 year old sports center has a 25-meter swimming pool, a diving pool and sport facilities that have all undergone major renovation. Over the last 14 months, the swimming section has been upgraded with modern technology and all structures and surfaces have been refurbished. Modern water treatment and ventilation have been installed in the swimming pool and the changing rooms. Kildeskovshallen is now open again so that clubs, associations, schools, organisations and other users can book the sports and meeting facilities.
   
CULTURE BY NIGHT
  This year, the Night of Culture in Copenhagen will be held on 9 October. This is a major annual event that grants access to venues that are usually closed to visitors. About 300 museums, churches, galleries, political institutions, exhibitions and many other venues in Copenhagen will open their doors, which makes this a great travel secret amongst Copenhagen travelers. There are shows, exhibitions and many activities for all ages. The Night of Culture Pass can be bought for 85 DKK at local museums or online. With the Pass you can also get free access to public transportation in Copenhagen on that day.

DON'T FEEL BLUE
  COPENHAGEN BLUES FESTIVAL proudly presents the 9th edition with five days of world class blues. From 30 September to 4 October 2009, Copenhagen Blues Festival offers an abundance of international and homegrown Blues all over town. This year's theme is Chicago Blues.
